Analysis of Surface Acoustic Wave Propagation Characteristics on Lead-Free KNN Single Crystal

This paper simulates the SAW resonator based on three different poling directions Ta-modified KNN (KNNT) single crystal. The date illustrates that the KNN single crystal of
$[\mathbf{011}]_{\mathbf{c}}$
poling direction is superior to
$[\mathbf{001}]_{\mathbf{c}}$
and
$[\mathbf{111}]_{\mathbf{c}}$
poling directions in terms of SAW resonator properties. The single-domain
$[\mathbf{011}]_{\mathbf{c}}-\mathbf{poled}$
KNN-based piezoelectric single crystal exhibits excellent SAW performance. Moreover, the Y-Z KNNT demonstrates high frequency and electromechanical coupling coefficient characteristics, making it highly promising for 5G devices.
