Developing Smart IoT Systems to Control Peak Demand Energy Using ESP8266 for Split Type Air Conditioners

This research presents an energy management approach to achieve the appropriateness between energy consumption and energy demand. This is to achieve the most cost-effective energy consumption. By applying the technology that exists today for this reason, programmable IoT system has been developed. NodeMCU / ESP8266 can be connected to a smart config Wi-Fi network. The developed system found that the system design that used to control on-off and temperature control in the room to reduce power and cost especially load split type air conditioners. on-off control conditions split type air conditioning is the number of people entering-exiting. And the appropriate temperature in the room according to the actual use of split type air conditioners can save electricity 77 kWh per day about percentage 33 of electricity consumption percent from normal use is load management for the demand side in order to be sufficient for the supply side for smart grid system in future.
