A DGS-Based Ultra Wideband THz MIMO Antenna for Wireless Communication

The increasing need for high data rate communication and sophisticated imaging technologies has spurred the exploration of ultra wideband Terahertz (THz) Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) antennas. The circular segment added circular two-port THz antenna that operates between 2.9 and 11.1 THz is presented in this work. The proposed THz MIMO antenna has an overall geometry of

. The suggested THz MIMO antenna is made on a polyimide substrate that is 2

thick and has a relative permittivity of 3.5. The antenna's radiator and ground plane are modified by integrating parasitic components to accomplish the proper operating frequency and isolation. The antenna's interport isolation is improved to exceed 20
