Wearable Belt Antenna for Human Body Communications at 8.75 GHz

Wearable textile antennas are a challenging advancement in the world of wearable technology. Flexible building materials, like as fabric with a planar structure, are a primary necessity for wearable textile antennas. The choice of substrate materials employed affects the textile antenna’s characteristics, including bandwidth, efficiency, input impedance, and others. The substrate dielectric constant largely affects these qualities. The accurate value of the fabric’s dielectric constant must be determined from the patch antenna’s resonance frequency. In this research, we provided parametric analysis-based simulation learning on a wearable belt (leather) antenna for wireless expertise. The antenna’s dimensions are at their ideal lengths for the optimum free space path loss, radiation efficiency, gain, and VSWR. Thin-film copper foil serves as the ground plane’s and patch’s radiating element.
