Analysis of a bidirectional converter for electric vehicles using photovoltaic panels

This study presents an analysis of the bidirectional converter for electric vehicle charging that is based on solar panels. A photovoltaic cell battery and a bidirectional converter that converts DC to DC make up this system. A battery is included to ensure the DC (direct current) engine can run when there isn’t enough sunshine. Excess energy from the photovoltaic (PV) panel may be stored in the battery since the bidirectional dc-de converter may control the flow of energy in both directions while it charges and discharges the battery. The MPPT controller takes the greatest power out of the photovoltaic module as load and irradiance changes. The model’s output was assessed and analysed using MATLAB/Simulink.
