Optimization of renewable system for assessing reliability and cost

The optimization is essential for providing a solution with best performance result. The optimization is performed in different applications but in this study, the renewable energy is optimized to assess the cost and reliability parameter. The best performance result shows that the proposed system operates with low cost and provides reliable operation to meet the load power. The system without optimization provides a data of huge cost of equipment’s and the system may fail to operate most of the time. So, the suitable optimization technique is performed in HOMER software to provide the original data for operating the system. The environmental database which is used for renewable sources are downloaded from national renewable energy laboratory (NREL) to perform the optimization process. The constraints are satisfied by generating power to the load for every time period with low cost. The entire research concentrates on how the power generated in remote location with suitable optimization.
