Spatiotemporal Influence of Lulc Change and Their Effect on the Hydrological Response of a Semi-Arid Watershed

The alteration in land use and land cover, primarily linked to anthropogenic activities, especially in arid and semi-arid areas, which are highly sensitive to changes, directly influences the evolution of the hydrological response of watersheds. This paper aims to manage the hydrological response of the wadi saida watershed according the spatiotemporal change of the LULC using SCS-DUH and analyzing variation of the peak flow at different lag time, in creating the runoff hydrograph.
