Lithological Descrimination and Slope Gradient for the Adjusted Hydrologic Soil Group Mapping in the Hodna Watershed

This paper aims to develop a concept for the adjusting the Hydrologic Soil Group mapping using the lithological discrimination techniques and the slope gradient. This adjustment process will refine the delineation of hydrological groups by taking into account the slope gradient variation. This approach provides enhanced accuracy in classifying soils based on their hydrological behavior, considering topographical nuances that may impact soil infiltration capacity. By integrating these insights, the resulting hydrological mapping becomes more detailed and better suited to the specific conditions of the study area.
