Static Load Modelling of Electric Vehicle Fast Charger For System Studies

The Electric Vehicle has emerged as the most viable replacement to fossil fuel-powered automobiles. As a result, electric car load has emerged as a new source of load for power networks. The creation of charging infrastructure for electric vehicles is turning into an intriguing task for experts all over worldwide, and EV users should also have access to convenient and dependable charging facilities. Hence EV Fast charger model is developed and its efficacy on the system is studied using MATLAB simulations. The EV fast charging model is expressed as ZIP and Exponential static load using curve fitting application and it is seen that they profoundly behave as Constant Power Demand. Their impact on the stability of the power system is also explored.
