Exoskeleton Hand for the Management of Hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome

Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (h-EDS) is an undertreated chronic condition that has a large gap in research on noninvasive treatments. Patients with this illness suffer from chronic pain, muscle weakness, joint hypermobility, and chronic fatigue. The design uses an electromechanical system to achieve contraction of the fingers for a grip-like position. The exoskeleton shall increase the user's endurance with daily tasks and be accessible & affordable.
