Evaluation of NOMA Systems for Healthcare Applications

Mobile technologies are allowing the deployment of new health services such as teleconsultation, continuous patient monitoring or even remote robotic-assisted surgery. Many of these applications are built upon the new 5G wireless networks. One of the enabling technologies for these 5G networks is known as non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA). This work shows a NOMA systems simulator that allows multiple users in real scenarios where interference cancellation among users is not ideal.
