Harness EMI Problems for the Hybrid and Electric Aeronautical Propulsion Systems of Tomorrow

This article presents the aeronautical perspectives of electrical energy transport with a short-term vision. A global analysis of the electric energy on board will be made during the discussion on the issues introduced by electric and hybrid propulsion in the aeronautical field. A dedicated focus on EMC issues will be presented. This will highlight the importance and consideration of EMC at harness level in the overall electrical system to ensure the realization of hybrid or even all-electric aircraft.
