Seepage Damage Assessment of Rock by the Hellinger-TOPSIS-Optimized Entropy of Microseism

Seepage would affect the stability of rock and increase the risk of accidents. In this article, a Hellinger technique for order of preference by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS)-optimized entropy of microseism method for the seepage damage sensing and monitoring was proposed. First, the multiparameters of microseism were extracted, and their importance was evaluated by the TOPSIS method. Then, the Hellinger distance was calculated using the Bhattacharyya coefficient. Finally, the seepage level was assessed according to the self-information of TOPSIS orders and Hellinger distance. The experiment showed that the recognition accuracy for the five seepage levels was 98%. The proposed method has great performance in terms of the time and computational consumption as well. This probabilistic method has rationality and applicability in the harsh underground rock engineering.
