Smart Targeted Advertising using Real-Time Age Segmentation based on Human Height Classification

In today's competitive business environment, effective advertising is crucial, yet traditional methods like posters and billboards lack the ability to target specific demographics or gauge viewer interest. Moreover, concerns about inappropriate content for certain age groups persist, especially in public spaces frequented by children. This paper introduces a novel solution: a smart advertising player screenboard that utilizes computer vision technology to analyze real-time video feeds, categorize individuals by age group, and automatically display personalized advertisements accordingly. The evaluation demonstrates robust accuracy in height estimation, with a root mean square error of 3.25cm, along with 90% accuracy in individual and group-based advertisement display, and 90% accuracy in age group classification. With its versatility for deployment in various settings, this solution delivers customized advertising experiences while prioritizing viewer privacy and ensuring age-appropriate content, poised to revolutionize public venue advertising, particularly within diverse lodging establishments offering a wide array of amenities and activities.
