Dynamic Load Balancing and Resource Optimization Algorithm for Reverse Proxy Servers

In today’s day and age, web applications demand efficient resource usage and load balancing strategies, to optimally distribute the traffic that applications encounter. This means that load balancing algorithms need to be improved further. In order to address this, a dynamic load balancing and resource optimization algorithm for reverse proxy servers has been proposed. A new strategy is discussed, on how load balancing can be improved to ensure high availability, scalability, and better load distribution. The algorithm works by assessing incoming routes and dynamically allocating resources by grouping similar requests together such that requests with equivalent resource usage are in the same pod for optimal resource usage. This helps in reducing resource fragmentation and improving overall system performance. The proposed algorithm not only improves resource optimization and dynamic load balancing but also enhances caching efficiency, and simplifies scalability and resource prediction. Based on the findings of this algorithm, there’s significant improvement in the performance of backend servers in the process of task scheduling.
