Optimal Scheduling Method of Wind, Light, Fire and Storage System Considering Flexibility Transformation Thermal Power Deep Peaking

It proposes the joint optimal scheduling strategy of thermal electricity, wind electricity, photovoltaic power, and energy storage after the flexibility transformation, accounting for the units’ new operational circumstances and aiming at the stochastic volatility and uncertainty of the future grid connection of high percentage of renewable energy sources. This will help to realize the safe and cost-effective grid connection of the new energy sources. In this paper, the cost of deep peaking under low load after flexible transformation is analyzed, and the calculation model of unit operation cost is established. Then, taking into account the flexibility of thermal power deep peaking, an optimal dispatch model that is multi-energy complementary and combines “wind, light, fire, and storage” is developed with the goals of minimizing the rate at which wind and solar power are abandoned, minimizing net load fluctuations, and minimizing system operation costs. Finally, CPLEX solver is used to solve the model, and the IEEE39-node system is compared and analyzed. The example shows that the participation of thermal power units in deep peaking can effectively reduce the impact of new energy fluctuations and reduce the wind and light abandonment, but this also increases the thermal electricity operation price and decreases the benefit.
