Analysis and Visualization of Energy Consumption and Carbon Emission in Aluminum Processing

In the context of global climate change and energy security, China has actively responded to the call of the international community to address climate change and implemented a series of measures to cut down carbon emissions. This paper takes the aluminum processing industry as an exemplar and employs life cycle assessment along with other methodologies to conduct a comprehensive analysis of energy consumption and carbon emissions during aluminum product processing. The results are visually presented, illustrating the carbon emissions and energy consumption at each stage of the process. Furthermore, a detailed analysis is conducted on the carbon emissions and energy utilization within an actual aluminum processing enterprise. Based on these findings, optimization recommendations are proposed including substituting traditional energy sources with low-carbon electricity and promoting new technologies to enhance energy efficiency. These suggestions aim to guide aluminum processing enterprises in implementing sustainable development strategies while facilitating reductions in carbon emissions and improvements in energy efficiency.
