Design of Modular Hardware Configuration System for Protection and Measurement Devices

At present, the hardware configuration specialty of relay protection device has the following shortcomings: large amount of hardware configuration information, lack of professional configuration tools, difficult transmission of hardware configuration information, lack of whole process management of hardware configuration and serial development of software and hardware configuration, etc. In order to solve the appeal problems, this paper provides a graphical, encapsulable and full process management solution. This scheme can encapsulate hardware information into a hardware library for downstream selection and use. This scheme can manage the whole process of hardware information configuration. This solution supports parallel development of hardware and software. Practical results show that the system will greatly improve the efficiency of R&D and testing of relay protection and measurement devices, shorten the development cycle, reduce the cost of human resources, increase product competitiveness and improve customer training quality and satisfaction.
