A Study on the Passive Degassing Technology of Cluster-Type Polytetrafluor-Oethylene Hollow Fibres and its Application Method for Hydrogen Detection in Transformer Oils

Dissolved gas detection technology in transformer oil is one of the means to assess the operating condition of transformers and fault diagnosis, and the oil-gas separation technology is a key link in the detection system. Aiming at the problems of long detection time and poor reliability of traditional permeable membrane separation technology, this paper proposes a new type of cluster hollow fibre membrane degassing method, which can significantly increase the ratio of membrane surface area and gas chamber volume, and significantly shorten the oil-gas separation time. Based on the performance test of the hydrogen sensor combined with the temperature and humidity compensation module, an on-line detection system for dissolved hydrogen in oil was constructed. The experimental results show that the method of this study can efficiently separate hydrogen in oil, the lower limit of hydrogen detection is 5ppm, and the oil-gas separation equilibrium time is shortened to within 8 hours compared with 24 hours of the traditional GP100 device. This study provides a new solution for the field of transformer oil gas on-line detection.
