Short-term Optimal Scheduling of Hydro-Photovoltaic Complementary System Based on NSGA-II Algorithm

The photovoltaic (PV) power output has a great fluctuate and strong uncertainty, which does not match with the power load curve, and limits the grid’s acceptance ability of PV power generation. Whereas hydropower regulation has the characteristics of strong adjustability and fast response speed. In order to effectively promote PV consumption and give full play to the regulating role of hydropower, a model of short-term optimal scheduling of hydro-photovoltaic system is established, taking the maximum peak-regulating capability of hydro-photovoltaic system and minimum the deviation of system output from load demand as the objective function, and taking the hydropower and PV outputs, the operation of power grids and reservoirs as the constraints. Three kinds of typical weather conditions are selected, and use NSGA-II algorithms to solve. The feasibility of the proposed constraints and the model is verified by case analysis.
