Architecture and Key Technologies of Wide-area Collaborative Monitoring System for Power Grid Wide-frequency Oscillation

As power electronic interfaced components are widely applied in power systems, massive inter-harmonics and high-order harmonics are injected into grids, greatly increasing the oscillation risks over a wide-frequency range. Due to the limited number of deployed wide-frequency measurement monitoring points, the dispatching main station does not have the capability of wide-area monitoring and traceability of wide-frequency oscillations. In response to the above problems, this paper proposes a software and hardware architecture for the construction of a power grid wide-frequency oscillation wide-area collaborative monitoring system, and explains related technologies, including wide-frequency data collection and processing, hybrid storage of multi frequency domain data, analysis of wide-frequency data characteristics, and collaborative monitoring of wide-frequency oscillations, in order to lay the foundation for the design and development of the wide-area collaborative monitoring system for power grid wide-frequency oscillation and provide technical support for the scheduling and operation of the “dual-high” power system.
