Characterization of Electric Vehicle Charging Load for Typical Functional Zones in Cities

With the development of the economy and the improvement of living standards, the ownership of electric vehicles has gradually increased. Proposing a fine-grained load forecasting for dividing urban functional areas. First, urban areas are divided into three categories based on functionality. Based on the travel data of electric vehicle users, user characteristics were analyzed, and typical daily charging load characteristic models are established for different functional areas. Secondly, combined with urban charging needs, perform model building and compare. Finally, simulation analysis is conducted based on data related to electric vehicles in Nanchang urban area. The results show that urban charging load characteristics are significantly affected by functional zone division, and the prediction of electric vehicle charging load characteristics in different functional zones is more accurate.
