Adaptive Virtual Capacitor Voltage Stabilization Control Method for DC Distribution Area

With the construction of new power distribution systems and the deepening of the development concept of green, low-carbon, and environmental protection, distributed photovoltaic, 5G base stations, data centers, charging piles for electric vehicles and other flexible DC loads at the side of the distribution platform have large-scale access. It has brought new challenges to the operation control and development pattern of the distribution area. Based on the new form and operation requirements of the new DC distribution area, this paper studies the rapid and stable voltage control method of the DC bus in the DC distribution area. An adaptive virtual capacitance control method based on hyperbolic tangent function is proposed based on power electronic port device of distribution area and grid interaction. Add an adaptive virtual capacitor control based on DC bus voltage fluctuations, When the voltage deviation increases, the adaptive adjustment of capacitance increases, improving the inertia ability of the system, and suppressing further deterioration of the voltage; When the voltage deviation decreases, the virtual capacitance adaptively decreases, reducing system inertia, and shortening voltage recovery time. The effectiveness of the proposed method is verified through simulation analysis in the DC distribution area. Compared with the traditional control method, the proposed method can rapidly suppress the rapid disturbance of source, load and storage in DC distribution area and realize the rapid and stable control of bus voltage in DC distribution area.
