Analysis on the Reasons for the Burnout of the Opening and Closing Coil of 110kV High-Voltage Circuit Breaker

Taking the on-site burning fault of the opening and closing coil of circuit breaker as an example, the main causes of the fault and the treatment measures are analyzed in this paper. Moreover, the finite element calculation method is used to study the motion process of the electromagnet. By adjusting some parameters, the various factors affecting the performance of the electromagnet are simulated and analyzed, and the simulation results are given, which can provide a reference for the correct selection of opening and closing coil.
