Data-driven Visual Assessment of Demand Response Potential of Microgrid Users

With the large number of distributed users in microgrid, in order to efficiently utilize massive microgrid measurements and accurately assess the potential of microgrid to take part in demand response, this paper proposed a data-driven visual assessment scheme of microgrid users’ demand response potential. Firstly, according to the daily operation power data of four typical users, the evaluation index of microgrid users’ demand response potential was designed, and the weighted index value was formed by objective weighting method. Then, the index system was visualized based on deep auto-encoder to improve the convenience and perceptual intelligence of the assessment process. Finally, the feasibility and accuracy of the proposed assessment method were verified by a case study of a real microgrid system.
