Research on Distributed Reactive Power Optimization Voltage Regulation Strategy Based on MOJAYA Algorithm

Photovoltaic power generation is random and fluctuating, and large-scale PV access can cause problems such as bi-directional currents in the distribution network and voltage violation at distribution network nodes. This paper focuses on the cluster division method and voltage regulation strategy for distributed reactive power optimization in distribution networks containing high penetration photovoltaics (PV). Firstly, the electrical distance calculated with reactive voltage sensitivity is used as the distance metric for the K-means clustering algorithm to complete the cluster division of the distribution network; Then, the MOJAYA algorithm is proposed to be used for reactive power optimization of the key nodes of the cluster with the objective of minimizing the total voltage excursion of the nodes and the active loss of the line; Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed distribution network PV cluster reactive power optimization strategy is verified by testing it with an IEEE33 node system.
