Augmented Reality Application for Supporting Thai Cultural Tourism

Augmented reality technology was gained recognition at present. It is an extension of virtual reality that more prominent in daily life and it delivers an interactive experience of real-world environment in which real world thing are improved by compute, therefore, augmented reality technology is a crucial tool for promoting cultural tourism awareness of the tourist. This research aims to 1. develop the augmented reality application for supporting Thai cultural tourism 2. evaluate the satisfaction of users toward the augmented reality application for supporting cultural tourism. The application was proved by acceptance test and satisfaction of the application was evaluated by experts and user of this application by questionnaire. The statistics used in data analysis were percentage, mean and standard deviation. The evaluation result from the questionnaire completed by experts and general users yielded was at a good level.
