Lightning arrester multi-physical quantity intelligent on-line monitoring device

With the increasing importance of metal oxide arrester (MOA) in the power system, the online monitoring technology of surge arrester becomes more and more important. In order to reduce the occurrence of safety accidents and improve the efficiency of monitoring the operating conditions of surge arresters, this paper proposes an intelligent device based on the online monitoring of multiple physical quantities, in addition to the traditional monitoring quantities such as steady-state current, but also added to the monitoring of the surge arrester transient current. The device uses a variety of sensors for monitoring different physical quantities. Through the continuous monitoring and acquisition of these physical quantities, and combined with intelligent algorithms for data processing and analysis, it is able to accurately determine the working status and degree of deterioration of the lightning arrester. Through the physical design and performance tests, it is verified that the intelligent online monitoring device has the characteristics of real-time, accuracy and reliability, which can provide timely lightning arrester status assessment and early warning information for the power system operators, help to ensure the safe operation of power equipment and extend the service life of the arrester, and therefore has a wide range of application prospects and important significance in the power system.
