Parameter Optimization of Electromagnetic Crimping Device for Transmission Wires Based on PSO

The optimization of the electromagnetic system parameters plays a vital role in forming the crimping pipe fittings of the transmission wire. In this paper, through the particle swarm algorithm, the coil optimization, the circuit optimization, and the comprehensive optimization results of the two are compared and analyzed. The complete optimization is better than the independent optimization in terms of deformation and electromagnetic energy conversion efficiency, which can make the diameter of the crimped pipe fittings. The axial displacement has increased to 4mm, the energy conversion efficiency is increased to 11.53%, and reduced the coil volume after comprehensive optimization to a certain extent.
