Breakthrough the Test Challenges for the Latest BeiDou Navigation and Satellite Communications Chips

BeiDou navigation and short message communication technologies have faded into people's sight in recent years. It is a new application that could support mobiles to “break through the sky” and communicate with BeiDou satellites, enabling users to send short messages even if no cellular signal exists. With the rapid development of the BeiDou-3 short message business in the consumer market, the BeiDou-3 navigation and short message communication device (the device) will be massively applied in mobile terminals. The Automatic test solution is needed to meet high-volume production test requirements. This paper introduces an automatic test solution for an actual BeiDou communication device on the V93000 platform. This device is a core component of the BeiDou communication system, it is usually packaged using WLCSP and needs some special test coverages. This paper will talk about the critical test challenges of these chips, how V93000 breaks through 、 these challenges, and achieving high throughput and cost-effective test solutions.
