Smart Self Orienting Solar Tracker for PV Power Generation System

The installation of a dual-axis solar tracking system to monitor the system's peak power is described in this project. The system tracks its maximum power through self-orientation. The increasing need for sustainable and eco-friendly energy solutions has spurred the uptake of solar power systems. worldwide. Nevertheless, the static orientation of conventional fixed-mount PV installations places limitations on how well they can capture solar energy. In order to overcome this constraint, solar tracking technology has surfaced as a crucial development that allows photovoltaic panels to dynamically align with the sun's position for maximum energy capture. This work presents the design, development, and validation of a unique Smart Self-Orienting Solar Tracker built particularly for transportable solar power producing systems. MPPT control and dual-axis tracking are two essential technologies that are combined in the design of an MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) dual-axis solar tracking system. By continuously adjusting the orientation and operating point of solar panels, this system seeks to maximize energy output. The SSOST integrates cutting-edge sensors, actuators, and control algorithms to autonomously adjust the orientation of PV modules in real-time. The tracker's GPS and compass modules allow it to track the sun's position precisely, which guarantees constant alignment for optimal energy yield. Additionally, the tracker's mechanical integrity is protected by a strong weather monitoring system that is integrated to anticipate and react to unfavorable environmental conditions. The SSOST's adaptability to mobile PV power generation systems is one of its unique features. The tracker's streamlined mechanical design and lightweight, resilient materials make it highly resilient to the rigors of transportation and deployment in changing environments. The system also includes an easy-to-use user interface that lets operators adjust tracking parameters from a distance.
