On the Existence of Simulations for Max-Plus Automata

The concept of weighted simulation has recently been defined for max-plus automata. This paper contributes to identifying the structural conditions for which a weighted simulation might exist. In particular, it provides verifiable sufficient conditions for the existence of a weighted simulation.
