Analysis of 2.4GHz for Microstrip Patch Antenna

MSP antennas are integral components in modern wireless communication system and their performance is greatly influenced by the choice of substrate material. Various substrates often used in Microstrip antennas are discussed, i.e. substrates such as FR4 epoxy, Roger4350 and Benzocyclobuten are used to achieve better gain and bandwidth. A rectangular MSP antenna is analyzed using Ansys HFSS as well as a comparison between different substrates showing different results based on the same parameters. The design frequency considered is 2.4GHz. This article contributes to the understanding and practical implementation of MSP antenna in various RF and Wi-Fi systems.
