Research on English Automatic Recognition System Based on OCR Technology

To realize accurate recognition of English text of pictures, a handwritten English text recognition system based on OCR technology is proposed. Among them, Tesseract is used as the recognition framework, CNN+LSTM neural network model is used as the text information extraction model, and the collected English text images are preprocessed to further improve the effect of text recognition. The experimental results show that the designed handwritten English text recognition system can carry out accurate text recognition with high integrity. Compared with CNN neural network alone, CNN+LSTM can extract text with higher precision. The above results show that the designed English text recognition system has excellent performance and can be applied to practical scenarios.
