Research on Islanding Mechanism and Anti-Islanding Method of Doubly-Fed Wind Turbines

Through the analysis of the islanding operation characteristics of wind turbines, the relationship between the power mismatch of wind turbine islanding operation and the voltage and frequency at the common connection points was revealed, and the power disturbance sensitivity was quantitatively analyzed. A comprehensive power island detection method was proposed, and the design of a comprehensive power disturbance island detection control loop for doubly-fed wind turbines was carried out. The method proposed in this paper has the characteristics of wider detection range, faster detection speed and higher reliability. The whole process of comprehensive power disturbance island detection of doubly-fed wind turbines is realized by MATLAB simulation, and the results show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
