A Novel Metamaterial Absorber for WiBAN and X-Band Applications

This paper claims research on a compact ultrathin triple band polarization free metamaterial absorber for microwave frequency applications. Structure resonators make up the preferred absorber unit cell. resonator is imprinted on upper surface of a 0.035 mm thick FR-4 epoxy glass substrate with copper coating on both sides. Under normal incidence, the suggested absorber structure provides three unique Absorption (ABR) peaks. In addition to the foregoing, the suggested absorber structure's Fourfold symmetry makes it polarization independent. In addition, the suggested absorber structure provides more than 90% absorptivity at all angles of frequencies for TE and TM polarization states. The suggested unit cell's ABR process has been explored using E-field distribution, and surface current density (SCD) graphs.
