Design of a 4-element UWB-MIMO Antenna for X,Ku, and, K Band Applications

The 4-port MIMO antenna structures designed in this paper have the following benefits: low profile, straightforward development, excellent isolation, peak gain, efficiency, and return loss. The characteristics of performance are observed for the proposed mechanisms for design by slotting the meander line of the latter two shapes at the patch, adding the stair shapes at the two bottom edges of the patch, and cutting the rectangle slot in the ground plane. The antenna has a -45 dB least reflection coefficient, isolation of more than 50dB, ECC lower than 0.0040, CCL is less than 0.2 bps/Hz, a total gain of 6 dBi, efficiency is about 75%. A wideband analysis of the proposed approach is conducted covering the frequency spectrum of 1 GHz to 20 GHz. The suggested work is appropriate for the wireless applications in the UWB/X/Ku/K bands owing to its multiple band responses.
