A Dual-Band Wide-Band Modified CPW-Fed Bow Tie Radial Slot Antenna with Rectangular Stubs

A wide-band dual-band antenna for WLAN applications is proposed in this paper. This work illustrates the impact of stubs on bow-tie CPW-Fed antennas. The design gives dual-band performance, achieving a wide band at 2.45 GHz and 5.65 GHz. The configuration of the antenna design with a thickness of 1 mm and an area of 69mm x 45mm. Compared to conventional slot antenna, the radiation bandwidth surged to give 1.62 GHz bandwidth at 2.4 GHz, making it a good candidate for WLAN applications.
