Circular Polarized Conformal Array Antenna For Satellite Applications

A novel flexible array antenna is suggested for satellite applications operating in C- band. This antenna makes use of four patch elements, all of which are connected through independent feed lines to a single coaxial feed. The thickness of the substrate is 1.6 millimetres, and the antenna measures 74.4×74.4 mm

. As a substrate, polyamide is utilized, It has a bandwidth of 400 MHz and resonating frequencies at 4.2 GHz. The suggested antenna managed to reach a maximum gain of 5.7 dB while maintaining an efficiency of 85% in its radiation.
