High Gain Metamaterial Antenna for High Data Rate Mm-Wave Communication Systems

This paper proposes a high gain metamaterial based antenna for high data rate millimeter wave communication systems. The frequency band from 37 GHz – 42 GHz can also be used for high data rate communications. The proposed antenna consists of a radiating patch with a metamaterial superstrate layer and is designed over a thin dielectric to provide transmission in the proposed high data rate frequency band. The compact structure with good characteristics in terms of impedance bandwidth (38-40 GHz), antenna gain (>10 dB), return loss (23 dB) (reflection coefficient), reduced losses and high efficiency (95 %) provides a good antenna option to be integrated with the millimeter wave communication systems for high data rate transmissions This electronic document is a “live” template and already defines the components of your paper [title, text, heads, etc.] in its style sheet.
