Enhancing the Critical Parameter of Liquid Insulation Used in Power Transformers

Transformers frequently employ mineral oil as an insulator. Subdued mineral oil replacements are made with vegetable oils. Antioxidants are substances that enhance the vegetable oil performance in power transformers. Vegetable oil has two main benefits: it is environmentally friendly and biodegradable. The organic fatty acids that are employed in this study are selected and combined in different proportions, and they include oil from olives, the bran of rice fluid, oil from coconuts, and oil from sunflowers. The critical elements of IEC standards are Viscosity, Flash over this regard, Fire point, and Breakdown voltage.
