Reconfigurable All-Optical Integrated Nonlinear Activator with Switchable Response Functions for Photonic Neural Networks

We experimentally demonstrate a reconfigurable all-optical integrated nonlinear activator with switchable response functions, including Gaussian, Radial Basis, Softplus, leaky ReLU, Swish and clamped ReLU functions, especially all triggered by low-power inputs.
