Abstract:

For the first time, we propose and experimentally demonstrate a joint mode permutation architecture for 10-mode transmission. Compared with cyclic mode-group permutation, the required equalizer window is further reduced by 30.7%, while the transmission reach is extended to 2000 km. © 2024 The Author(s)
