The Influence of Shape Defects on the Spectrum of Natural Frequencies of a Cylindrical Resonator of a Solid-State Wave Gyroscope

Using the finite element method, the dependence of the spectrum of natural frequencies of a cylindrical resonator of a solid-state wave gyroscope on the depth of the circular hole and the through slit on its top is calculated. An increase in the splitting of natural frequencies with an increase in the depth of these defects and the binding of the resonator axes to such defects has been established. The influence of the number of finite elements on the accuracy of calculation of natural frequencies was also studied
