Parallel Implementation of 3D Model of Wave Hydrodynamics and its Verification*

The research delves into parallel algorithms for implementing a three-dimensional wave hydrodynamics model through MPI technology in software. The scalability of the proposed algorithms is assessed, and metrics are computed to gauge the efficiency of parallel computing. Verification of the mathematical model is conducted, and simulation results are compared with those from contemporary third-generation wind-wave models (WAM, SWAN, WaveWatch). Numerical experiments, utilizing input data from WorldView satellite images of the Azov Sea, are presented and juxtaposed between SWAN and the three-dimensional wave hydrodynamics model. The image contours are identified using the Local Binary Patterns (LBP) method. Information about the sea bottom bathymetry is derived from the Taganrog Cadastre Bureau data, and a bitmap image of the bottom section is generated for its incorporation into the model..
