Investigating the Effect of Different Steel Fibers Content on the Mechanical Properties of Ultra-High Strength Concrete Towards a Dense Composoition

In order to make concrete less brittle, this research examines how steel fibers affect the mechanical characteristics of Ultra- High Strength Concrete (UHSC), particularly compressive, flexural, and tensile strength. In this study, the steel fiber content in concrete ranges from 0%, 3%, 6% to 9% by weight. Where the mix of 9% steel fibers has a 30% increase in compressive strength compared to the control mix. While the flexural strength and tensile strength improved by 113% and 60%, respectively. After casting, all specimens underwent steam curing for 36 hours. The volume of steel fiber has a positive impact on the results, and on the mix design of concrete.
