Examining the Impact of Energy Management Systems on Energy Performance and Organizational Competitiveness: An Empirical Study

This study examines the impact of energy management systems (EnMS) on energy performance and organizational competitiveness. Manufacturing organizations were surveyed to collect data on EnMS implementation, energy consumption, and energy costs. The results of the study show that organizations with EnMS have lower energy consumption and costs than organizations without EnMS. The study also found that EnMS can improve organizational competitiveness by increasing productivity, reducing costs, and improving environmental performance. The findings of this study suggest that EnMS can be a valuable tool for organizations that are looking to improve their energy performance and competitiveness. The study also provides practical recommendations for organizations that are considering implementing an EnMS.
