Organization of Storage and Processing of Results from Industrial and Computational Experiments of Polymerization Processes Based on Databases

The article presents an approach to storage and processing of results of large-scale chemical-technological experiments and computational experiments based on databases. The approach is presented on the example of isoprene polymerization processes in the presence of various microheterogeneous catalytic systems. A conceptual and logical database model of the study enterprise was created. The choice of catalytic system affects the number of types of active sites involved in the process; in the structure presented in this article, up to four types of active sites can be considered. The constructed structure can be adapted for other polymerization processes, depending on the type of the process, its formulation, and flow conditions. The presented physical model is implemented as a database and has been tested in the Microsoft SQL Server environment.
