Segmentation of Sperm Flagellum Using a Temporal Local Motion Estimation

Sperm flagellum is often poorly visible and difficult to detect while being useful in research and IVF treatments. A pixel-wise temporal analysis is used to estimate motion and processed to obtain a segmentation of the flagellum. 83% of the length of the flagellum is successfully segmented on average.
