Design of Variable Structure Constant Current and Constant Voltage Output Wireless Charging System

In order to improve the wireless charging efficiency and prolong the service life of battery, a variable structure constant current and constant voltage wireless charging system is proposed. Firstly, the LCC hybrid compensation topology loosely coupled transformer mutual inductance model is established to analyze the current and voltage output characteristics of the topology. Secondly, two switching devices are added to realize constant current and constant voltage output through topology transformation. This method does not need adding additional capacitances, and has no original side communication structure, and does not need frequency conversion phase shift control, and reduces the system control complexity and volume. Finally, an experimental system of 5.4A constant current output and 64V constant voltage output was built to verify the feasibility of the method.
